Arknights: Endfield “Sanctuary of Ink” Is Live: Si and Argent Flow Arrive, Wuling Gets a New Area, and Tons of Oroberyl Await
Hello, Endministrators! If you have not had a chance to read the announcement yet, Arknights: Endfield has received a major update titled “Sanctuary of Ink.” The official announcement was published on October 15, 2026. This version introduces a new area in Wuling called Si’s Painting, two new 6-star Operators named Si and Argent Flow, four new 6-star weapons, and a series of events running through mid-to-late November. With many new events opening from October 22, now is a good time to plan your activities.

Maintenance Schedule and Oroberyl Compensation
Maintenance for the Asia server took place on October 15, 2026, from 06:00 to 12:00 (UTC+8), or approximately 05:00 to 11:00 WIB. For the Americas and Europe servers, maintenance was scheduled for October 14, from 17:00 to 23:00 (UTC-5). The developers noted that the servers could reopen earlier or later than scheduled. This is a mandatory update, and players need to download and reinstall the game client after maintenance.
There are two compensation packages. Update and maintenance compensation grants Oroberyl ×900, while bug-fix compensation provides another Oroberyl ×900, bringing the total to 1,800 Oroberyl.
To qualify, players must have created a character before the update. The two rewards are delivered through separate in-game mail messages after the Mail feature is unlocked. They can be claimed until before the next version update and maintenance, when the mail expires. Make sure you claim them before the deadline.

How to Update on Each Platform
iOS players can open the App Store and tap Update, while Android players should launch the game and follow the prompt that appears.
On PlayStation 5, select Arknights: Endfield from the home screen, press the controller’s OPTIONS button, choose Check for Update, and confirm.
PC players need to close the game, restart the GRYPHLINK launcher, and click Update.
New Story Content and Area: Si’s Painting in Wuling
The main story now extends to Chapter II Process VIII: “Paint with Fresh Ink.” Several exploration missions have also been added, including “Miscellanies on Rampage,” “Post Destination,” “A Painting Open for Business,” and “Farming Automation.”
Additional side missions include “Back to the Rustics,” “Unrequited Love,” “The Story Continues,” “A Day to Remember,” and all three parts of “Yuanyuan Innkeeper.”
The new area is called Wuling Si’s Painting. The version title, “Sanctuary of Ink,” and the announcement’s opening imagery of autumn scrolls stretching across rugged trails and mountain peaks fit the area’s ink-painting atmosphere. Players will also encounter new enemies, including Fortune’s Stash, Scroll of Tactics, Simmer’s Purge, and Maned Measure.
Two New 6-Star Operators: Si and Argent Flow
This version introduces two new 6-star Operators, Si and Argent Flow. They appear on separate banners with different schedules, giving players time to plan their pulls.
Si arrives first through the “Rejuvenation” Chartered Headhunting banner, which runs from after the version update until November 5, 2026, at 11:59 server time.
Besides Si as the rate-up Operator, the 6-star Operators available in this banner include Typhoeus, Liino, Ember, Lifeng, Ardelia, Last Rite, and Pogranichnik.
During the banner period, Combat Drills will also be available so players can try Si. Complete the designated stages using preset teams containing trial Operators, then claim rewards through the Event Center. These include Oroberyl ×100, Arsenal Defense Crate, Mark of Perseverance, and other rewards.
The Arsenal Defense Crate contains a full set of Level 60 gear that has been fully artificed and is suitable for the trial Operator. Players can also exchange Spirit’s Restoration HH Permits for a discount at the AIC Quota Exchange, up to a maximum of five.
Argent Flow follows on November 5, 2026, at 12:00 server time through the “The Hearth Fire Beckons the Starry Flow” banner. It remains available until before the next version update.
The 6-star pool for this banner includes Argent Flow, Si, Typhoeus, Ember, Lifeng, Ardelia, Last Rite, and Pogranichnik.
The same Combat Drills system will be available for Argent Flow, with rewards including Oroberyl ×100, Arsenal Defense Crate, and Mark of Perseverance. Players can also exchange The Stars Are With Me HH Permits for a discount, up to five permits.
Tangtang’s RE-Factor Banner
Another banner, “Ancestral Spring Flows Anew” RE-Factor Headhunting #1, features Tangtang as the rate-up 6-star Operator. The banner runs from October 29, 2026, at 12:00, until November 19, 2026, at 11:59 server time. The available 6-star Operators are Tangtang, Ember, Lifeng, Ardelia, Last Rite, and Pogranichnik.
One small note from the optimization section concerns Tangtang’s Ultimate description. The revised text explains that she releases OLDEN STARE, temporarily applying Immobilization to enemies within its range. Immobilized targets cannot perform any actions while the effect lasts.
The announcement clarifies that this is a text revision only. The actual skill effects remain unchanged.

Events Starting Soon: Photography, Umbral Monument, and Oroberyl Rewards
Several events are already underway or will open soon. Yuanyuan’s Blazing Stoves is a Fun & Games event that runs until before the next version update. Players can visit Si’s Painting, manage Yuanyuan Manor Inn, complete Session Tasks, and increase Inn Milestones to claim rewards such as Oroberyl ×1000 and Mark of Perseverance.
The event content updates on October 22 at 04:00 server time. Once the event ends, Session Tasks and their rewards can no longer be claimed. However, players can still play Yuanyuan Manor Inn and claim Inn Milestone rewards.
The Spirit’s Restoration login event runs until November 5 at 11:59. Logging in for a total of seven days grants rewards including Spirit’s Restoration HH Permit ×5.
Meanwhile, the All the Inky Hues guide event asks players to visit Si’s Painting and complete specific missions. Rewards include Oroberyl ×1200 and Mark of Perseverance. The event runs until November 5 at 12:00.
On October 22 at 12:00, the photography event Carly’s Verdant Anthology opens and runs until November 5 at 04:00. Completing its photography missions grants Oroberyl ×1500, Portrait Frame: Carly’s Verdant Anthology, and Mark of Perseverance.
At the same time, Umbral Monument receives a new series called Murmurs of the Deep Forest, featuring four stages. Completing all stages grants Mark of Perseverance, Advanced Cognitive Carrier, Arms INSP Set, and Protohedron.
The limited-time event Monumental Etching: Forest of Maras also opens, with rewards including Oroberyl ×1200 and Advanced Progression Selection Crate II.
On October 29 at 04:00, Contingency Readiness begins and runs until November 5 at 04:00. Daily rewards include Sanity Usage Permit, Emergency Sanity Booster, Wuling Artificing Catalyst, and Coolant Gel.
Later that day, at 12:00, the challenge event Arena of Games opens and runs until November 19 at 04:00. Collect Arena Points and reach every Arena Milestone to claim rewards including Oroberyl ×1200 and Mark of Perseverance. The event content will be updated on November 11 at 04:00.
The Fun & Games event New Era for the Myriad Souls runs from October 31 at 12:00 until November 14 at 04:00. Players can add actors and props to complete story recordings, unlock different endings, and claim rewards such as Oroberyl ×300 and T-Creds.
Events Starting November 5 and Beyond
November 5 at 12:00 will be a busy day. Alongside Argent Flow’s banner and Moongleam Issue, Argent Flow’s narrative event, Back to the Rustics, will also open.
Completing this side mission grants Oroberyl ×600, Elementary Cognitive Carrier, and other rewards. After the event page is removed, players can still access the side mission through the Mission menu and receive its rewards, provided they meet the participation requirements.
The login event The Stars Are With Me also begins that day, offering rewards including The Stars Are With Me HH Permit ×5.
Another major event opening on the same day is Contingency Contract: Indigo Experimental Operation. Players can freely choose combinations of Test Criteria, collect Vitrified Indigo, and exchange it at Secret Sanctuary for rewards such as Oroberyl ×2000, Sticker: Contingency Resolved, and Advanced Progression Selection Crate II.
The event content updates on November 12 at 12:00, while Secret Sanctuary remains available until December 3 at 04:00 server time.
Next, Delver of the Cryptic receives a new spatial set called Fade Beyond the Painting on November 12 at 12:00. Three Protocol Spaces open initially, followed by three more on November 19 at 04:00. Completing the spatial set challenges grants rewards including Oroberyl ×1200 and Mark of Perseverance.
Finally, the Sanity Supply event begins on November 19 at 04:00, providing daily rewards such as Sanity Usage Permit and Emergency Sanity Booster. It ends on November 26 at 04:00 for the Asia server, while the Americas and Europe servers end earlier, on November 25 at 17:00.
The permanent mode Echoes of War also receives two consecutive seasons. Season of Phantasia remains available until November 5 at 11:59, followed by Season of Fervor from November 5 at 12:00.
Each season has three cycles with three stages per cycle, adding three new stages. Completing all new stages on Normal difficulty grants rewards including Oroberyl ×300.
System and Quality of Life Improvements
This version also brings several quality-of-life improvements. On the AIC Factory side, the regional development level cap for Wuling has been raised, and a new facility called Auto Farmer has been added. It can automatically plant and harvest crops in the fields of Si’s Painting and, later, the Wuling City farming area.
An overhead view is also available for farming areas, and Delivery Jobs have been adjusted so that unclaimed jobs do not immediately expire.
In combat, players can now set skill combo priorities on the Team screen. This allows them to decide the order in which skills are released when multiple combos are active simultaneously.
Team slots have also been expanded through Team06 and Team07. Enemy targeting has been improved as well: hold the lock-on button to display the reticle, move the camera toward an enemy, and release the button to lock onto the nearest target.
Other new system features include Gear Plan, which lets players save and name multiple gear setups, and Cabin Shift Rotation, which allows each cabin to have two Operator shifts, A and B.
There is also an automatic setting for time-limited Sanity Meds. When they expire, they are converted into Sanity, while any excess is converted into non-expiring Sanity Essences, provided a Sanity Extractor is available.
Additional improvements include gear artificing through the Assembly tab, one-click clue delivery to friends, the Visit Next feature when visiting a friend’s ship, camera sticker rotation and scaling, and better controller support.
