Neverness to Everness Version 1.4 Is Now Live: Blackbird Arrives, Porsche Collaboration, and Pukaland Opens
Hello, Appraisers! Neverness to Everness has received a major new update with Version 1.4, titled “For Whom the Verses Mourn.” The update officially went live on September 30, 2026, bringing a large amount of new content to the game. Version 1.4 introduces the new limited S Class character Blackbird, new story content, two locations called Pukaland and St. Arbor, additional outfits and accessories, new events, and a major collaboration with Porsche.
There is also plenty of content to keep players busy throughout October and into November. From limited boards and Mystery Boxes to City Tycoon content and special login rewards, the update gives Appraisers several different ways to collect resources and cosmetics. For players who are planning their resources around Blackbird, Porsche collaboration rewards, or the many limited time events, understanding what Version 1.4 offers is important. Here is everything you need to know about the latest Neverness to Everness update.
Neverness to Everness Version 1.4 Maintenance Schedule
Version 1.4 launched following scheduled maintenance on September 30, 2026. The maintenance period was scheduled from 06:00 to 11:00 UTC+8, which is around 05:00 to 10:00 WIB. During this period, players were unable to log into the game. The Pink Paws Heist event was also temporarily closed from 05:30 UTC+8 on September 30 and reopened after maintenance was completed. Because Version 1.4 is a large update, the developers also reminded players to consider their data usage when downloading the new content. Players can choose whether to download the update using Wi Fi or a mobile network depending on their situation.
Eligible players also received compensation following maintenance. Players who had created a character before 06:00 UTC+8 on September 30 were eligible for 300 Annulith from the maintenance compensation and another 300 Annulith from the bug fix compensation. That gives eligible players a total of 600 Annulith. The compensation was delivered through in game mail after maintenance. Players should make sure to claim the rewards before the mail expires. The developers also noted that maintenance could finish earlier or later than the scheduled time depending on the actual progress, so players were advised to follow official announcements during the maintenance period.
How to Update Neverness to Everness Version 1.4
The update process depends on the platform being used.
PC players can close the game, reopen the launcher, and press the Update button.
Android players can open the game and follow the update prompt that appears automatically.
For iOS and Mac, players can download the update directly through the App Store.
PlayStation players can open the system menu, select Neverness to Everness, press the OPTIONS button on the controller, and choose Check for Update.
Steam players need to close the game, exit and reopen the Steam client, open their Library, find Neverness to Everness, and select Update.
Epic Games Store players can also close the game, reopen the launcher, and press Update.
Before Version 1.4 launched, the Limited Board Linko “Surfing All Channels!” also ended on September 30 at 05:59 UTC+8. Players who wanted to exchange the skins and outfits from that board needed to visit the Sync Perks event page before the deadline.
Blackbird Arrives as the New S Class Character
The biggest character addition in Version 1.4 is Blackbird, a new limited S Class character. Blackbird became available after the Version 1.4 update on September 30 and will remain available until October 21 at 05:59 UTC+8. To unlock Blackbird, players first need to complete the main story quest “Prologue: A New Destination: Head to Eibon Antique Shop.” Blackbird appears on the Limited Board “Foretold Finale.” She is featured alongside three A Class characters named Mint, Edgar, and Adler.
The Limited Board also includes several additional rewards. Players can obtain the glider livery “The Harbinger,” the Yesteryear motor livery “Nightplume,” and Blackbird’s exclusive outfit “Rouge et Noir.” The Divination Perks event runs alongside the Limited Board. Players can claim rewards after reaching 50, 120, or 200 total rolls. Additional rewards can also be obtained randomly through rolls before reaching those milestones. For players interested in Blackbird beyond her combat or collection value, Version 1.4 also adds exclusive story and relationship content connected to the character.
Lacrimosa Returns With a Separate Limited Board
Blackbird is not the only S Class character receiving attention in Version 1.4. The update also brings back Lacrimosa through the Limited Board “Fading Reverie.” This board is available during the same period as Blackbird. The Fading Reverie board includes the glider livery “Tomato Duo,” the Regalia Pendragon vehicle livery “Tomato Cruise,” and Lacrimosa’s outfit “Gilded Rhapsody.”
These rewards can be claimed through the Daydream Perks page using a cumulative roll system. An important detail for players managing their rolls is that each board tracks its progress independently. Only rolls made on the Fading Reverie board count toward Daydream Perks progress. Although progress can carry over between boards with the same name, players should keep track of which board they are using when working toward specific rewards.
Two Limited S Class Arcs Are Also Available
Version 1.4 adds two limited S Class Arcs.
The new Arc is called “Crime and Punishment.” Players can obtain it by spending Tri Keys or Roostfeather Keys through the Roostfeather Special program in the Arc Research Program. According to the update information, this is currently the only way to obtain Crime and Punishment.
The second Arc is “The Last Rose,” which returns during Version 1.4.
Players can obtain The Last Rose by spending Tri Keys or Nocturne Keys through the Nocturne Special program. This gives players additional limited Arc content to work toward while the new character and other events are active.
New Story Content Arrives With The Witch
Version 1.4 also continues the story with a new main story episode titled “The Witch.” Players can access the new episode after completing the previous “Fogden Game” episode. The story introduces a darker mystery involving a mysterious letter, an eerie ritual, and a town surrounded by secrets. The official description also focuses on the poetic whispers of townspeople who are searching for a witch while the town becomes surrounded by fear and fog. The update also adds new City Hangouts content and a new Invitation mode called “Home Time.”
Both pieces of content feature Blackbird. However, players need to own Blackbird and reach the required Bond Level with her to access this content. This means Blackbird is connected not only to the Limited Board but also to additional character focused content introduced with Version 1.4.
Explore Pukaland and St. Arbor
Two new locations become available in Version 1.4.
The first is Pukaland, an entertainment focused location filled with activities and unexpected encounters. Pukaland offers a different atmosphere compared with the usual city environment. The area is designed around excitement, strange situations, and stories that can take players into unexpected adventures.
One useful feature in Pukaland is the Pukaland Gold Pass.
Players can exchange Puka Stars for the Pukaland Gold Pass at the Puka Exchange Shop. The pass provides a permanent 90 percent discount on all rides in Pukaland.
The second new location is St. Arbor.
St. Arbor is a small town located at the foot of a mountain. It was once described as a peaceful place where residents could live and work quietly. The contrast between Pukaland and St. Arbor gives Version 1.4 two new areas with very different atmospheres for players to explore.
New Outfits and Accessories
Version 1.4 also adds a selection of new cosmetic content. Blackbird receives the outfit “Wandering Stars,” which is available through the shop. The outfit receives an 18 percent discount, reducing its price from Riftcrystal 3,280 to Riftcrystal 2,680. The discount period runs from October 7 at 06:30 until November 11 at 05:59 UTC+8. Another Blackbird outfit called “Rouge et Noir” can be obtained through rolls on the Foretold Finale board. Players can also unlock “Unfazed Denim” automatically after obtaining Blackbird and reaching Bond Level 10 with her.
Other characters also receive new outfits. Sakiri receives “Gingerbear Biscuit.” Baicang receives “Master Slacker.” Haniel receives “Classroom Hijinks.”
These three outfits are unlocked through progression in the City Tycoon Puka Membership Program.
Several accessories are also introduced. “Tomorrow’s Star,” “Position Zero,” and “Neon Nights” can be purchased from the Fashion Shop for Fons 1,600,000. “Moonless Night” and “Grand Prize” can be obtained through specific levels in the Puka Membership Program. “Big Brains” can be exchanged at the Pukaland Star Ticket Counter, while “Knockingbird” is unlocked through a special achievement.
Neverness to Everness Teams Up With Porsche
One of the most notable additions in Version 1.4 is the official Neverness to Everness collaboration with Porsche. The “Born to Race” Mystery Box event begins after the Version 1.4 update on September 30 and runs until November 11 at 05:59 UTC+8. Players can spend Fons or Annulith to open the Mystery Boxes. The first box costs Fons 50,000 or Annulith 50. The price increases with each subsequent box. There are 15 boxes in total. Opening all 15 boxes allows players to unlock every reward available in the reward pool. The Born to Race Mystery Box includes two Porsche collaboration vehicles. The first is the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package. The second is the Porsche 911 Turbo (930). Other rewards include Fabricated Dice, A Handwritten Letter, Fons, the limited avatar frame “Redline Rush,” and the exclusive namecard “Roar Recharged.” The collaboration vehicles from this Mystery Box do not include a signature nameplate.
The Everdriving Mystery Box Returns
The Porsche collaboration also includes the return of the Everdriving Mystery Box. This Mystery Box offers the Porsche 918 Spyder and Esper Zero’s limited collaboration outfit “Perfect Partners.” Players can also receive Fabricated Dice x10, A Handwritten Letter x3, Fons 500,000, the “Heartbeat Moment” avatar frame, and the “Trackside Shadow” namecard. Players who participated during the previous Mystery Box period can continue from their existing progress because the progress carries over.
Obtaining Porsche vehicles also unlocks the Porsche Club automatically after the update. The Porsche 918 Spyder unlocks the “Power Boost” modification for Porsche collaboration vehicles. The Porsche 911 Turbo (930) unlocks the classic “Salzburg” livery. The Porsche Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package unlocks several exclusive items, including the “Badge of Honor” furniture, “Horizon Spectre” namecard, “No Substitute” phone case, “Relentless Drive” phone wallpaper, and the “Porsche Club” title.
More Events and Rewards in Version 1.4
The Porsche collaboration is only one part of the Version 1.4 event lineup. The “Circle Gifts” login event runs until November 11. Players who log in for a total of seven days can receive Solid Dice x10. The “Pukaland Travelogue” event focuses on collecting Wonder Stamps and completing Pukaland themed encounters. Rewards include Annulith, Fabricated Dice, Floe Cinema Tickets, Elite Hunter Guides, and Chaotic Dye. Another event called “Terminal Depths” introduces train themed stages. Completing the stages can reward players with the title “Off Rail Operator,” Annulith, Fons, Elite Hunter Guides, and Chaotic Dye.
The “Coal Lump’s Treasure” event begins on October 8. Players collect Prism Drop during the event to unlock the titles “Sweet Benefactor” and “Bestie Supreme.” Prism Drop can also be exchanged in the event shop for Annulith, Floe Cinema Tickets, Fons, and other items. Two additional efficiency bonus events are also scheduled for October. “Stamina Recharge” runs from October 5 to October 19 and provides double efficiency when spending City Stamina on Hethereau Hobbies activities. “Pixel Surge” runs from October 19 to October 26 and provides double rewards when spending Character Pixels on activities including Houdinii’s Magic Stage, Houdinii’s Schemes, Bubble Can Factory, and Rabbit Hole. The Pixel Surge event has a daily limit of 120 Character Pixels and a total maximum of 840 Character Pixels throughout the event.
Puka Membership Program Adds More Progression
Version 1.4 also introduces the City Tycoon feature called the Puka Membership Program. Players can complete quests and increase their Sweetdream Level to unlock various rewards. The reward list includes Puka Boot Camp, Drone Follow Cam, the three character outfits introduced through the program, a Standard S Class Character Selection Box, the Puka Membership S Class Arc Selection Box, accessories, avatar frames, namecards, titles, phone wallpapers, and dice skins. The Arc Selection Box allows players to choose one of nine popular Arcs. Examples include Reality Refuge, Youthful Fantasy, and Eternal Waltz. The update also adds new Anomaly Commissions that unlock gradually.
Three commissions become available after the first update on September 30. These are “Night of the Last Bus,” “Lilliput in the Looking Glass,” and “Perfectly Ordinary Dreams.”
A fourth commission called “No Rest for the Cookies” becomes available after the second update on October 21.
Circle Bounty Season 1.4
Circle Bounty Season 1.4 also arrives with the update and runs until November 10. Players need to complete the Main Quest “Relax Time” before they can participate. Completing Circle Quests grants Experience Points that increase the Circle Bounty rank. Ranking up can unlock rewards such as Fabricated Dice, Gold Carrota, De Noise Solution, and Expansion Core.
Players who purchase Elite Hunter Supplies can receive additional rewards as their rank increases, including 680 Annulith. The Honor Hunter Supplies package includes all of those rewards together with instant bonuses such as an avatar, avatar frame, namecard, and Fons 500,000.
Blackbird’s Invitation Web Event
The Version 1.4 content lineup also includes the web event “Blackbird’s Invitation. ”The event runs until November 11. Players can share their personal invitation link with new or returning Appraisers. Each invitation code can be linked to up to 20 new accounts and 20 returning accounts. Completing quests on the event page can reward players with Annulith or Divination Attempts. These Divination Attempts can provide a chance to win Solid Dice x10 and other rewards.
