Wuthering Waves Version 3.6, “Lamplight in Mirage, Sword's Resolve in Heart,” officially launched on August 20, 2026. The update introduces two new 5-star Resonators, Qingxiao and Jingran, alongside new weapons, events, story content, gameplay improvements, and maintenance compensation.

Kuro Games has officially released Wuthering Waves Version 3.6, titled “Lamplight in Mirage, Sword's Resolve in Heart,” on August 20, 2026.
The maintenance period ran from 04:00 to 11:00 (UTC+8). As usual, players affected by the maintenance received compensation from Kuro Games.
Maintenance Compensation and Bug Fix Rewards
Players can claim:
300 Astrite + 2 Crystal Solvent as maintenance compensation.
An additional 300 Astrite as bug-fix compensation.
That means a total of 600 Astrite from both compensation rewards.
Players must have created a character and unlocked the Mail feature before August 20, 2026, at 04:00 (UTC+8) to qualify.
The compensation remains available until the next version update. If maintenance is extended, the developers will provide further information and adjust the compensation accordingly.
Meet the Two New 5-Star Resonators: Qingxiao and Jingran
Version 3.6 introduces two brand-new 5-star Resonators: Qingxiao and Jingran. Both characters can serve as Main Damage Dealers, but their elements, weapons, and combat mechanics are completely different.
Qingxiao - Aero / Sword
Qingxiao is a reserved swordmaster known by the title Xuan Paragon of Xuanfang Hold. She is also regarded as an unparalleled master of both the qin and sword.
Her personality is distant and composed, seemingly untouched by emotion. Known as the Sword Transcendent, Qingxiao has protected the land for countless years, with her cold blade remaining as sharp as ever.In combat, Qingxiao functions as a Main Damage Dealer built around the Tune Strain Response mechanic.
Jingran - Fusion / Broadblade
Jingran is a Nethermancer from Mengzhou who travels across Mirage Realms and forgotten ruins. Having witnessed the remnants and ancient traces left behind in the world, Jingran follows no particular sect or doctrine. Instead, he chooses his own path and determines right and wrong according to his own beliefs. As a Main Damage Dealer, Jingran focuses on Heavy Attack DMG.
Two New 5-Star Signature Weapons
Qingxiao and Jingran also arrive alongside two new 5-star signature weapons:
Glint of Clouds (Sword) available through the Featured Weapon Convene, designed as Qingxiao's signature weapon.
Thousandfold Deliverance (Broadblade) available through the Featured Weapon Convene, designed for Jingran.

Version 3.6 expands the world of Solaris-3 with new locations, Echoes, and story chapters.

Mail Favorites

Kuro Games has begun testing gradual programming language changes across platforms through online testing.
The goal is to improve overall performance and average frame rates. However, devices with limited RAM, including iOS devices with 4GB or less and Android devices with 6GB or less, as well as certain iPhone 14 models running specific iOS versions, do not support the optimization during its initial testing phase.
Improved Motorbike Expedition
Motorbike Expedition has also received upgrades. A new Display Theme feature allows players to change their motorcycle's appearance through specific quests, including Startorch Academy Garage and Cloud Ride Garage. Autopilot Mode has also been improved so the motorcycle can automatically reposition itself after remaining stationary for too long.
